History

The beginning of all came in the United States, where the brothers Victor and Lino Nader lived for years. Influenced by American culture, they began to write songs in English.

Over time the songs took shape. Began to be heard and praised, and suddenly, it was compared to the musical quality of well known musicians.

To bring life to the project the band resumed ties with drummer Tiago B, a member of The Blind Birds, a previous formation of band in 2000. Later, the guitarist and multi-instrumentalist Eduardo Marson was invited. However, the landmark for OYF as a professional band came when piano player Nando Morsani and sax player Ricardo Pires summed the band august 2009.

A new era had began. With this formation, OYF enhanced their music quality, distinguished their work from any other band and allowed the completion of the project as a whole.

From there on, they were launched on a laboratory phase of ten months, pre-producing a 12 track album, all arranged by the six members themselves. Right after that, they were shut in studio for almost an year to release their official debut album, recorded by producer and sound engineer Roy Cicala, who worked with famous names like John Lennon, Bob Dylan, Frank Sinatra, Tom Jobim, Elvis, among many others.

The birthplace of the album called OPTIC YELLOW FELT was made in the S.A Plant Studios South, Sao Paulo. The album was officially released to the public May 20th 2011.
