The Band
“An alternative fusion of folk, jazz and English rock.” It’s the only way to define the band’s sound Optic Yellow Felt – or simply OYF. The group released their first album in collaboration and production supervision signed by Roy Cicala, one of the best producers and sound engineers the world.
In 20 years of experience in Record Plant Studios, New York (1968-1987), Cicala recorded and produced names like John Lennon, Aretha Franklin, Madonna, Elvis Presley, Elton John, Bruce Springsteen, Sting, Frank Sinatra, Dire Straits, Jimi Hendrix, David Bowie, Miles Davis, Chick Corea, Ray Charles, Aerosmith, Bon Jovi, Liza Minnelli, Roberta Flack, Van Morrison, Don McLean, The Who, Johnny Winter, “Crosby, Stills, Young,” Frank Zappa , Lou Reed, Prince, Santana, Sarah Vaughn, Charles Mingus and now oversees the OYF album containing 12 songs arranged by the six members, recorded in S.A Plant South, in Sao Paulo.
OYF is a result of the evolutionary process of rock. Its peculiarity definitely adds admirers of good music.
